HYDRAULIC TRAILER:

It is a loading platform/ Chassis available in different modules / configuration / having multi Axle unit is connected by a hydraulic suspension. Hydraulic / Air hose pipes have fitted through out the trailer to facilitate the hydraulic function from the respective tank by adjusting the different control valves.

The Hydraulic Trailers imported by us from M/S. Goldhofer of West Germany are designed as a basic unit or module.

We have imported 9 basic units, 2 basic units of 6 Axle Lines each and 7 basic units of 4 Axle Lines each. (Refer Fig.1 showing the sketch of 4 and 6 axle unit separately).

These units can be joined longitudinally and transversely for carrying heavier load with wide variations in dimensions (Refer Fig.2).

Depending upon the load and dimensions of component to be transported these units can be employed with various versions or configurations as per requirement.

Various versions employing through our basic unit 4 Axle lines Trailer and 6 Axles Lines Trailer has been shown in Fig.2 

 

 

Heavy Duty Hydraulic Trailers have the following features.

Designed carrying capacity is more. It can be used to carry any type of load as long as the road can bear such weight.

Equally, distribute the load on each axle. Thus increasing the safety to cross the Bridge.

Can be increased by lengthwise as well as widthwise to load the consignment based upon its size and weight.

It maintains the stability of loaded consignment even on gradient, sharp curves, up & down, hump dip etc. because of hydraulic compensation. (Refer Fig.3)

Can be raised or lowered +/- 300mm from the normal driving height of 1175mm, which facilitate loading and unloading of consignment without using crane.

Axles can be steered independently. Thus giving better turning radius.

Tyre pressure can be increased / decreased to maintain required conduct area.

It can be moved in both directions. Thus facilitates to negotiate very sharp turn particularly at Y – junction and unloading sites.

Possibility of utilization by means of additional attachments with respect to load and size of consignment viz. Girder Bridge, low deck carrier and bolster.

Based on the pressures indicating in the dial gauge of the power pack attached to the hydraulic trailer, specific load per axle line can be identified and can re-allocate the weight to ensure the stability of cargo.
